For the architecture office MAAS and PARTNER Villa Rocca produced this wonderful ensemble. On one side, this 4,60 m long counter is salient for 2,60 m. Meander-shaped, the counter enframes the stairs consisting of 14 steps and one stairhead.

For the Marco Polo Tower in Hamburg, Villa Rocca produced 65 attic facade tiles. On the Elb isle Großer Grasbrook, the Hafencity is generated. It is the new trend-setting district in Hamburg. The currently largest urban development project in Europe with 115 hectares combines live, work, culture, education and leisure. The Morco Polo Tower is directly on the Strandkai. The unusual Interpretation of the subject “residential tower” makes the building a landmark of the port city.

The Hamburgian artist Andreas Oldörp deals since 1985 with the interactions between sound and space. Since 1988, he developed sound-installations and sculptures with constant sounds, which produce the complex and spatially-variable tracery/sound texture.
On a free surface of a 150 year old cemetery in Enschede, the sound installation White Lily was built in collaboration with Andreas Oldörp and Villa Rocca. Inside the 3.50 m high sound-box, there is a little bench which invites to relax, to reflect and to listen.
In a shaft under the White Lily, organ pipes are installed, which, in the future, produce a deep tone, which is led by tubes in the sound-box of the white Lily.

The studio Stilhof in Taufkirchen near Munich is the must-be, when it is about an exclusive interior. From 3. Mai 2010, tiles, natural stone, mosaic, parquet, window profiles, kitchens, upholstered furniture, international design for the interior and now also concrete from Villa Rocca, can be admired in the 1.800 m² big exposition of the studio Stilhof. In future, concrete aficionados get to be advised on-site every first Friday and Saturday of the month by Mr Egenter, CEO from Villa Rocca. Appointments upon prior arrangement.

The renowned Swiss architecture firm Oberholzer + Brüschweiler commisioned this outdoor bench and table arrangement according to their own design for their gravel-covered court. The 5 metre long arrangement offers the perfect setting for the members of the firm to come together after the office hours in summer and to relax under the shade provided by the surrounding trees.

On the the exhibition swissbau in Basel between the 12th and 16th of January 2010, Villa Rocca, in cooperation with the enterprise badwelt, presented new serially produced products in addition to their well-established “O” shelf system (launched in 2004) to aficionados of sophisticated fairfaced concrete. These products will be available as of the second half of this year.

The „piece de resistance" of this new assortment of products certainly is the freely arrangeable fireplace featuring a bio-ethanol firing chamber. Contrary to most other available fireplaces, the Villa Rocca fireplace is able to function like the classic tiled stove. The massive concrete construction stores the heat generated by the fire and gives warmth to the room long after the fire has extinguished.

Other products of this assortment are focused on the sanitar sector, such as a heatable bathtub and various washstands. The latter are available in combination with attractive wooden vanity units or glass basins

The fashion created by the designer Hannes Roether is ditinguished through timelessness, unique details, and the deployment of premium materials. In accordance to the minimalistic style of his collections, he now arranged his new outlet store in the Ingolstadt Village.

The highlight of the shop is without any doubt the sales counter manufactured out of villarocca.roughcrete® with an integrated monitor, cash register floor units. The rough, porous concrete surface structure of the impressive counter interspersed with cavities and holes generates a dynamic contrast to the precious materials of the garments which seem to defy gravity suspended from metal chains.

After weeks of intricate and laborious work, the 4,80m long and 1,10m wide model manufactured on a scale of 1:400 is now mounted at its final destination, the lobby area of the visitor centre, the so-called “head building”. With the model, the globally operating corporation for medicinal products intends to provide the visitors with a comprehensive overview of the premises as soon as they enter the building.

The marking of the complex of buildings was realised using high grade steel letters wchich were which were mounted flush into the concrete.
